Step 1 Greetings (1min)
Use sentence like “Good morning, my dear students!”
Step 2 Lead-in (2mins)
1. Present some pictures and related phrases like listen to tapes, read newspapers.
2,Ask students some questions:
1. 1) How do you study English?
2) What do you think is the best way to learn English?
Step 3 Pre-writing (5mins)
Groupwork
Practice students’ speaking skills with each other.
Ss1: How do you study English?
S2s: I study English by reading textbook.
Step 4 While-writing (10mins)
1) Firstly, the teacher gives some key structures and samples in writing.
2) Secondly, students write their own articles by imitating.
Step 5 Post-writing (10mins)
Students exchange their articles with their partners so that they can check their mistakes together.
Step 6 Show time (8mins)
Students read out their own articles in front of the class.
Step7 Summary (3 mins)
Teacher concludes the steps of writing. First, we should write the beginning,. Then, writing the body the second step. Finally, we should write an ending of the passage.
Step8 Homework (1mins)
Share your passage with your friends and families.
