Abstract?Trough the methylene blue assay Research the relationship between maize root activity and the yield traits. Analyzed the different maize varieties in the seed germination rate, grain weight. and seedlings period of seedling height, stem diameter, root number, seedling fresh weight, root fresh weight, root activity and other seedling traits, And harvest period of Yield Characters and plant height, ear height, number of green leaves per plant and other plant traits were studied. The results showed that: the root activity and yield of maize was positively correlated relationship; Maize root number, root length, root fresh weight, root volume and other traits with Yield have a certain relationship.
