With the continuous development of world economy and the growing world population, environmental pollution attracts our attentions. Environmental pollution is one of the most serious problems that mankind faces today. Air, water and soil are necessary to the survival of all living things, but they all harmed by pollution. Polluted air can cause illness, and even death. Polluted water kills fish and other marine life. Pollution of soil reduces the amount of land on which we can grow food. Environmental pollution also brings ugliness to mans naturally beautiful world. There are a lot of reasons causing the problem. For example, exhaust from automobiles causes air pollution. Factories discharge much of the material that pollutes air and water. Too much fertilizer or pesticide can ruin soil. So we should be responsible for the environment around us. We can take effective measures to protect our environment. Firstly, its best for us to ride a bike to school, dont take a bus or a taxi. Secondly, scientists and engineers should work to find ways to lessen the amount of pollution that such things as automobiles and factories cause. Thirdly, government should pass and enforce laws that require businesses and individuals to stop or cut down on certain polluting activities. And lastly, we had better not cut down the trees.
I think solving the problem depends largely on our responsibility to society and environment. If the sense of responsibility is greatly aroused ,harmony between man and the environment will not be far away.

With the development of industry, water pollution is becoming more serious now. The polluted water not only kills fish, it is also harmful to our health. Many people get sick because they drink the polluted water. In some rivers the water is so dirty that they can even kill plants.
We should fight against the pollution. We should stop using harmful things. I wish it is not a dream that in the near future we can have clean rivers again.

Recently, the air pollution has become a matter of a public concern. It, is obvious that the air pollution brings too much troubles to us all. Additionally, it also makes the environment around us worse and worse. So it is high time to fight against air pollution.
The following ways can be adopted to solve the problem. First of all, the government should make some plans to reduce the factory which is bad for air.Secondly, the teacher should also teach their students to fight against air pollution. Thirdly, we should plant more trees to get more fresh air. In fact, more than three ways can be adopted.
It is undeniable that fighting against air pollution is necessary. As for me, we should do our best to deal with this problem. When everyone is fully aware of the severity and take feasible measures, I firmly believe the environment we are living in will be more beautiful.
